Cory Lewis
Hi, I'm Cory Lewis, a dedicated and detail-oriented Computer Systems Engineer. I recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering, earning honors as Cum Laude. My passion lies in embedded systems design and electrical hardware, and I'm eager to apply my skills in a practical, fast-paced setting.
Project Overview
The Engineer's Workbench project involved designing and developing an integrated, multifunctional engineer's workbench using a Raspberry Pi 4. This bench was designed to facilitate extensive electronic testing and measurements, providing engineers with a comprehensive suite of tools in a single platform.
Project Overview
The project was part of my capstone course and focused on systems engineering and model-based design. It involved creating detailed diagrams and models to analyze the functionality and uses for the Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS).
Project Overview
This is a personal project that I am working on. I wanted to get more hands-on experience with working with robotics, motors, and embedded systems. The robot car is designed to be controlled using hand gestures, leveraging the capabilities of MediaPipe for gesture recognition. Additionally, the car will be equipped with time-of-flight sensors to autonomously avoid obstacles.
